Results - Investec Night Relay Round 3
Thu 2nd August - Over 100 business teams took part in the 3rd round of the Investec Night Relay Series last Thursday evening with Gamble Pharmacy remaining unbeaten, winning round 3 in a time of 1hr 9minutes, just over 3 minutes ahead of the Transnet Runners with Snowcap Mushrooms in 3rd place. Team Merrell won the ladies race whilst Investec won the Mixed category. Institutional Planning beat over 40 other walking teams to take honours in the walking category ahead of BASF Construction and the MBDA. This penultimate round of the 2012 Investec Night Relay Series supported the Reach for a Dream Foundation, raising over R6,000 for the hopes of a child through the Foundations Reach for your Slippers campaign. The Finale for 2012 will be taking place on Thursday 6th September with over 150 teams expected to compete in this fun corporate team building event which is hosted by the Mandela Bay Development Agency (MBDA) and supported by MTN, City Lodge Hotels Group, News Cafe, Sport Elizabeth, NMBT and Scheckters Organic Beverage.
