Winter Events - Stellenbosch
No slowing down for winter with all these fun events happening:

Nightride - Sat 23 June 17h45 Delvera
Lights for hire from the Trail Centre if you don't have - book it now.
Start at 17h45, registration anytime before. 7km or the more technical
14.5km that is real fun in the dark. R50 gets you timing, goodys, drinks
and luckydraw. A real fun way to start the evening!
Winter Trail Run - Sun 24 June 09h30
Gear up! Delvera the venue - you can compare you previous lap times.
Later start at 09h30. Pre-entries closed, but late entries accepted
from 08h00. We'll have shelter at the start/finish with Cafe Pronto to
warm you up.
Choose from the 7km loop and more singletrack on the
14.5km route. Refreshment station for both routes at the Pepper Tree.
Wilde Juice, Falke, Hi-Tec, Civvio giving product. Luckydraw inside
Trail Centre afterwards.
Next Trail Run 26 August and a Spring series will have even more surprises in stall...
Delvera Kids Outride - 29 June 10h00
Delvera brings a children program for the holidays 25-29 June, see www.delvera.co.za. All children get FREE permits that week. Meurant
will lead a leisurely ride of 5km for ages 10-18 next Friday. Moderate
climbing involved. Book via theteam@dirtopia.co.za

Spur Schools League WP#2 14 July
At Boy Louw Sports Fields in Paarl. WP Provincial Cup points also up

WP Provincial & sports class 15 July
Everyone can enter, but only sports class ride without a CyclingSA
licence. R35 day licences available. A real fun 7km lap on Delvera.
Entryform available on http://www.dirtopia.co.za/. Goodys for all - we
intend to make this a special Provincial, as it is the last one of the
season...
DIE BURGER MTB CHALLENGE - 28 July Eikestad Primary STELLENBOSCH
ALL entries now open! A route for everyone: 15km, 30km, 42km, 60km. The 75km invitations will be sent early next week.

All adult finishers get a bottle of Jordan wine! Medals to all
finishers.
Enter before end of June and stand a chance to win a R4000, two nights
stay in Stellenbosch. Also, Die Burger subscribers (current & new)
that enter the event will stand a chance to win a Giant Snap mountain
bike PLUS another Giant bike will be drawn for all entrants at the
luckydraw on the day.
It is an amazing day for mountain bikers to enjoy the wonderful trails
around this beautiful winelands town - specially open only on the day of
the race. Working with Simonsberg Conservancy, STB Tourism & Wine
Route - loads of accommodation vouchers and wine to be won as well!
Don't forget to order your long sleeve tee or event hoody now, as limited garments are made.
