Amashova Durban Classic 2013 – Enter Now!

Last chance for a cheaper entry fee into the 106km. Enter before 1st August! Click here to enter online.

School points will be positioned along the route again this year and if any of your children’s schools would be interested please let us know. We are offering schools an awareness point between Hillcrest and Durban – and creating a Tour de France type vibe on the Shova route with many schools and businesses creating vibrant interactive points on the M13. All points will be positioned one kilometre apart from each other. What you do at your point is entirely up to you – whether it be showcasing your schools drummies, gumboot dancing, school band playing or just showing your schools spirit with flags and banners. Last year we had 10 schools taking part in this great event and this year, with your assistance we would like to more than double this support!

Congratulations to the many cyclists that have won competitions through our Facebook page – from restaurant vouchers at Durban’s top eateries to accommodation around South Africa in various Three Cities hotels. Check out the accommodation competition for August, at the Gateway Hotel, it will be perfect to use as accommodation on Amashova weekend. Thank you to the following restaurants that have supported the competitions – Intaba View, La Pizza Pazza, Lords and Legends, Dros Gateway and Butcher Block Umhlanga.

Put a charity group together and join our “pedal to give” campaign. We have limited space for registered charities. Enter a group of 50 or more riders and you will receive the following: earlier start batch, 6 x 6m hospitality area at the finish, 50m branding in the finish area, place at registration where you can promote your charity, later closing date for entries, opportunity for charity details and logo on the Amashova website. Thank you to Afrika Tikkun and CHOC who have already entered charity teams!

Don’t forget we have bus and bike transport available to Pietermaritzburg, Cato Ridge and Hillcrest on race day. Click here for the forms and take the hassle out of race day logistics!

Don’t want to drive all the way to Durbs to pick up your race number? Save time and money and have your race pack couriered to your door. Click here for the courier form

Happy Cycling.
