Distance: 55km Short Course / 120km Long Course
Duration: 5-9 hours short course / 10-19 hours long course
Disciplines: Trail Running/trekking, MTB, Paddling, Basic Ropework

Format: Teams of two. Mixed pairs official category. Male and Female
pairs also welcome.

Race start time: 08h00
Race briefing: 30 mins prior to start

Entry fee: Short course R600 per
team / Long Course R700 per team
Distance breakdown: Approximately 70% MTB, 20% Trekking, 10%
Venue/Race location: Announced at least 6 weeks prior to event
Entries open: 6 weeks prior to event
Early entries close: 7 days prior to event
Late entries close: 5 days prior to event (R200 surcharge per

Boats: Bring your own canoe/kayak/surfski or rent from organizers at
R300 per team incl. PFD's and paddles.

WCAD Series is aimed at introducing new people to the wonderful sport of
Adventure Racing whilst also testing experienced racers. Novices should refer

better understanding of what Adventure Racing and the WCAD Series is all about.
