Come and enjoy a magnificent refreshing early Run / Walk in an environment of great natural beauty.
The route winds through the scenic Silver Lakes Golf Estate as well as the Willow Acres Estate.
Please note that the 15km race includes a stretch of rough gravel road and are not suitable for wheelchairs and prams.
We welcome wheelchairs and prams on the 5.5km route.
NO DOGS will be allowed, since part of the Race is through a Game Reserve.
No Blade, Bicycle or mechanically operated device will be allowed in the race.
No Ipods or listening devices allowed in the race.
Animals not allowed.
There will be refreshment points at 3km intervals. along the route.
No seconding is allowed during the race.
The race is run in accordance with the rules of ASA and AGN.
Licensed athletes must wear their 2015 licence numbers in front and back of their vests when participating in the 10km and 15km races. Non registered athletes (10 and 15km) must wear the temporary license number at the back of the vest. All athletes must wear the race number on the front of their vest.
Athletes competing for age category prizes must display the official numerical age category tags on the front and the back of their vest.
Proof of age will be requires to be presented to referees before prize giving.
Walkers competing for prizes must wear the official W or Walker insignia on the front and the back of their vest.
International athletes must abide by the IAAF rule 4.2 which states that they must provide a clearance letter from the athletes Federation of their country of orgin to be eligible for a prize.
Medical support and Tog bag facilities will be available.
Special FAITH medals to all finishers!
Gold medals for the category winners (10km and 15km) and to the first 10 finishers in the 5.5km.
Silver medals for the next 100 athletes of the 5.5km, 10km and 15km.
Bronze medals for the rest.
