Fun Walk Information
Entry Information (Start after the AGN Race)
• Teams consist of six people.
• Entrance fee R342 per team.
• Individuals are welcome to enter at R68.40 per person.
• The fun walk is for everyone young and old, such as cell groups, youth groups, schools, congregations, businesses, senior citizens, service centres, clubs, students and families.
• Entry forms and team or individual payments can be done electronically or directly at KerkSonderMure (Hippo Ave) or Run-A-Way Sport by 20th June.
• The entry form makes provision for for the details of the team coordinator / individual as well as the names and ages of the 6 other team members.
• Team coordinators / individuals will receive proof of entry via e-mail or sms after individual / team entry and payment. Team coordinators / individuals must report on 28th June from 08:30 at the “Walk for Bibles” table.

General Rules For Fun Walk
• Every participant must ensure that they are fit and healthy to take part in the fun walk.
• Teams walk for 1 hours (10:30 - 11:30) around the Hoërskool Zwartkop racing track. There must always be at least one participant of each team on the track.
• One gazebo per team may be erected on the rugby field.

There will be prizes for the following categories:
• 1st to 3rd places (Fun Run male / female)
• Team that walked the most rounds.
• The oldest participants that walked the most rounds
(A family category)
• Team with the most inetresting outfit
• Team with the most creative name
• Team with the best character and team spirit

All Athletes
1. All athletes must be amateurs as defined under Athletics South Africa rules, and not be under the stipulated ages as indicated in the table above
2. All entrants will participate under the rules of AGN and ASA and it is the athlete's responsibility to be familiar with the rules
3. Age restrictions:
- Minimum age of 15 years on the day of the race for 10km
- Minimum age of 16 years on the day of the race for 21.1km
4. Marshals and Traffic Officers  must be obeyed at all times - failure to comply with the instructions may lead to immediate disqualification.
5. No seconding will be allowed
6. Sufficient refreshment stations will be available
7. It is the participant's responsibility that he / she is medically fit and healthy to participate in any of the events
8. The race committee reserves the right to accept or reject any entry.
9. Proof of age must be produced if requested by the race refree.
10. No ipods or any other audio devices are allowed. (IAAF & ASA Ruling)
11. No dogs allowed.

Licensed Athletes
1. All entrants must be in possession of a valid 2014 license number
2. Athletes must wear the official race number on front and the 2014 ASA lisense number on the back of the running vest
3. Atletes competing for category prizes must wear official age category ID tags on the front and back of the running vest
4. Foreign athletes must comply with IAAF Rule 4 paragraph 2 regarding the handing over of their permits to the Race Organisers

Unlicensed Athletes
1. All unlicensed athletes participating in the 21.1km and 10km events must purchase a temporary license number
2. The Temporary license number must be worn on the back of the running vest and the race number on the front

General Information
1. Plenty of Stalls & Music
2. There will be anough to eat and drink at aordable prices. There will also be stalls where you can browse for interesting stu.
3. Come and enjoy the entertainment and music! All activities are in aid of fundraising for Bible production and distribution.
4. Club gazebos welcome.
5. Togbag area.
6. Childrens’ Fun Corner A fun corner for children under the age of 6 years will be available.
7. Participation at own risk.
8. The organisers accept no responsibility for any loss, damage or injuries.
