Kahn at The Music Kitchen

On the back of a successful 2015 which saw KAHN complete his debut solo album 'SALT' allowing him to explore different genres and song writing styles, he has embarked on his first tour of 2016.

Kahn will be performing at the Music Kitchen, Port Elizabeth sharing his solo experiences with an intimate show where many more musical memories will be made.

The Parlotones front man, Kahn Morbee recently launched his solo project performing as K A H N.  2014 saw him launch his much talked about debut solo album ‘SALT’ that has received acclaim from the South African music listening public and media alike.

2015 saw K A H N travel extensively throughout South Africa promoting and performing at all major venues and festivals. With a compelling stage personality of his own and a reputation for enthralling audiences, KAHN attributes his musical influences across a range of genre’s and this is set to take listeners on a cathartic experience that lets you hold onto every lyric we can all associate with.


In 1999, Kahn formed The Parlotones, a melodic quartet which has attained a global following, from head-lining the 20,000-seater Coca Cola Dome to the 2014 FIFA World Cup Kick-off Concert to an audience of a billion in 2010. The Parlotones staged an original rock theatre production, Dragonflies and Astronauts, which was broadcast, live around the world in 3D via DIRECTV and in 2D on Facebook.

Performing thousands of shows in countries around the world, The Parlotones have performed at many European and American music festivals with, among others, the Kings of Leon, Maximo Park and The Cure.
