Race numbers will be available on race day at Foskor Community Center in Namakgale, Phalaborwa.

Cut off time for race is 16h30.
Medals will only be issued to half marathon finishers in the given time.
Walkers will start at 13h00 and runners at 14h00.
As the race start at 14h00 there are thousands of spectators along the route.
The race start in Namakgale township, the first 4 kilometers is ran on the streets of Namakgale, then just after 4th kilometre, you will turn right to join R71 which is the main road used to the town of Phalaborwa and Kruger National Park.
On R71 you will pass the roads turning to Majeje villages and Lulekani Township.
You will be on R71 for 6km then turn right (Kruger National Park is less than 15km from here) on R40 towards Mica/Hoedspruit. R40 will be the quietest of the whole race as it is just farms and open area along the route.
You will run up to 16km on R40 till you turn right again back to Namakgale.
On this road you will pass Makhushane village before re-entering Namakgale.
Permanent or temporary licence numbers must be worn on the back of the vest and race numbers on the front.
Athletes do not need to belong to a club to participate, but must purchase a temporary licence.
Obey all Marshalls and traffic officers.
Runners MUST be 16 years or older on race day.
All participants must present their ID document at registration.
All foreign athletes to present their passport at registration.
All athletes who have not reached the 15km mark by 16h00 will be transported back to the field.
All prize winners will be subjected to a doping test; failure to avail yourself is a serious offence.
Prize money will only be paid after doping results are received. (Around 3 weeks after race).
Athletes who won prize money must present their banking details and ID document.
No registration and collection of prizes on behalf of fellow athletes will be allowed.
No refunds will be entertained.
No prize money will be paid on the day of the marathon.
Prize money for breaking the course record will only be paid after re-measuring of the course.
Foreign athletes will be subjected to 15 % tax on the prize money (SARS and ASA instructions).
The race is run under the rules of IAAF, ASA and Limpopo Athletics.
All foreign athletes must comply with IAAF Rule 142.2 and Rule 4.2 with regard to permission from his/her country of origin to participate outside the country. Written proof of such permission must be provided on race day, should he/she be eligible for any prize money.
The use of video or cassette recorders, radios, CD, radio transmitters, mobile phone or similar devices is not allowed (underline).
The use of any technology or appliance that provide the user with an advantage which he would not have obtained using the equipment is not permissible.
