FNB Wellness Heritage Run 10km

FNB Wellness in conjunction with FNB Runners is hosting a Wellness Heritage run in the Johannesburg CBD, starting and ending at FNB BankCity (Simmonds Street). The Wellness Heritage run will be 10kms passing many of Johannesburg’s heritage sites and showing off Johannesburg’s beauty & heritage.

Race Packs can be collected from the following venues between 09:00-17:00:
FNB Learning and conference centre, 114 Grayston Drive, Sandown, Sandton – Saturday (20th) & Monday (22nd)
No race packs can be collected on race day
NO Entries Will Be Taken On Race Day

All participants will receive a goodie bag containing:

Age Categories (age on day of race)
Open (seniors): between 20 and 39 yrs
Vets: between 40 and 49 yrs
Masters: between 50 and 59 yrs
Grand masters: 60+

1. All entrants have to wear the supplied race T-shirt. NO exceptions will be given.
2. All entrants will participate under the rules of CGA and ASA and it is the athlete's responsibility to familiarize themselves with the rules.
3. Medical support will be available on the day.
4. Athletes competing for a category prize must wear NUMERIC age category ID tags (front and back). Proof of age (namley certified ID or birth certicate) must be available on race day. Prize money will be withheld until age/gender is vertified.
5. Athletes indemnify the National, Provincial athletic bodies, the sponsors, organisers, beneficiaries and local authority against all and any damage or injury they sustain in participating in the race.
6. It is the responsibility of each athlete to ensure that he or she is medically fit and healthy to participate in the event.
7. Athletes may not make use of roller blades, skatedoards, cycles, prams or other mechanically propelled devices.
8. All directions and instructions from traffic officers and marshals must be obeyed. Failure to do so may lead to disqualification.
9. No seconding permitted.
10. Athletes will not be allowed to participate with pets.
11. Foreign athletes must comply with ASA domicile rules. In the event of winning a prize, international athletes must provide a clearance letter from their country of orgin to the race referees.
12. No athlete will be eligible for prizes if details are not completed on sticker or tear off strips and thus deemed to be a non finisher.
13. The race committee reserves the right to accept or reject any entry. The judge’s decision is final.

R10 from each entry will be donated to your selected charity.   Please select from the following:
Endangered Wildlife Trust (EWT) for the conservation of the African Wild dog (rarest carnivore)  Did you know there are less than 450 Wild Dog left in South Africa? Let’s help save these animals from extinction.
Johannesburg City Parks for development, maintenance and conservation of public open space and the natural environment.
Rhino Orphanage who cares for baby rhinos orphaned by the shocking trade in poached rhino horns.
Johannesburg Heritage Foundation is a proactive organisation ready to do battle and defend our City’s heritage
