General Race information:
Come and jin us for North West Province’s latest and most exciting race to date.
Our course designer, Cape Epic Survivor – Paul Doubell, designed excellent routes within the bushveld setting using awesome single track and jeep track. The routes are designed to entertain all levels of expertise and will be a definite test of rider’s skills and fitness due to the variety of course conditions. The 10km, 20km, 40km and 65km routes include drop offs, technical ascents and descents for the more experienced riders! On the day there will be: First aid available on the route & premises; Bike Wash @ R15.00; and prize giving will be after the race.
This is a race worth travelling for and to mark in the yearly calendar as the routes will be tweaked for the following year, ensuring interest and advancement for the next couple of years!
Along with the weekends festivities, it is worth making a weekend of it and be sure that it will definitely attract the whole family back year after year.
The weekend kicks of Friday and the HUB will have all ancillary and complementary facilities, which includes:
Beer garden and food stalls Friday and Saturday
Live entertainment Friday and Saturday by leading South African Artists
Other adrenalin natured events eg: Suvivor; 4x4, quadbikes, motorbikes, Mounted Games (horse)
Camping facilities on site and several B&B’s in the immediate area
