Our sponsors, ELB Engineering, have always made education a priority, but the challenges experienced by deaf children are far greater. All funds raised will go towards assisting the school in providing much needed resources to enable their children to gain a quality education, so that they can fulfil their potential.

Our Colour Run concept, provided a perfect opportunity for our deaf and hearing communities to get together and celebrate our health, enjoy the beauty of our Johannesburg city parks, and delight in a pantomime of colour. A smile is something understood in any language.

Runners of all ages and abilities are welcome, and there is no cut off time for completing the race. The race will start at the James and Ethel Gray Park. The route is scenic, and meanders through the beautiful suburbs of Melrose, Birdhaven and Rosebank, and passes the St Vincent School for the Deaf, where our deaf children will man a refreshment station for runners. The route then returns to the James and Ethel Gray Park which is a perfectly picturesque setting for a day of family fun and entertainment.

Besides the run, there will be a craft market, kiddies entertainment area, and plenty of food and drinks to keep the whole family happy. The race is pet friendly and the winning pooch will win a doggy hamper for their efforts.
