General Information
1. Gold medals to all overall category winners
2. Medals to 1200 finishers
3. Trophy for the fastest Club Bus
-  (Minimum 10 members of the same club)
4. Trophy for the Biggest Club Bus that completes the race within 1hour 45 min
5. The first 900 finishers of the 15km will get a T-shirt
6. Refreshment stations every 3km
7. Refreshments on sale at finish
8. Tog bag area
9. Cut-off time - 2 hours 10 minutes
10. Parked vehicles protected by Security.

Rules For 15km
1. The race is run in accordance with the rules of ASA and CGA. Athletes indemnify the national, provincial andregional bodies, sponsors and organizers of the race against any or all actions of whatsoever nature, whatever the same may be arising out of their participation in the race
2. Registered athletes must wear their 2014 licence number back and front
3. Temporary licenced athletes to wear plain clothing with the issued temporary licence number back and front, no advertisement allowed
4. All licenced athletes competing for category prizes must fill in tear-off strips and must wear numeric category tags clearly visible back and front.
5. Proof of age for prize winners will be required and to be presented to the referees before prize giving. Prizes will be withheld until confirmed
6. No seconding is allowed
7. International athletes must provide a clearance letter from their country of origin to the referee in the event of them winning a prize
8. Regret, no wheelchair athletes
9. No blade, cyclist or mechanically operated device allowed in the race
10. No animals
11. No 2, 3 or 4 wheel carts/ prams which are mechanically or manually operated by participants will be permitted to participate without the special permission granted. Carts / prams must start at the back of the field
12. Minimum age of competitors on the day of race - 15 years
13. Temporary licenced athletes are eligible for open and category prizes, provided they have the age category tag clearly visible back and front
14. All traffic officers and officials instructions to be obeyed
15. Walkers competing for prizes must wear the “Walker” tag on the back and front of their vests
16. Walkers competing for prizes must adhere to the Rules of Race Walking
17. Club Busses competing for Trophies must comprise of 10 members or more wearing the same Club Colors, and must cross the finish line within 1 minute of the first member crossing the line
18. Please wear reflective clothing.

Our pharmacy is the only one on the East Rand which is open 24 hours a day and is available for all your medication and prescription needs. Our casualty department is permanently manned to provide medical care for any emergency.

The hospital also has a team of experts: physiotherapists, occupational therapists, neurosurgeons, orthopaedic surgeons and general practitioners. We also specialise in occupational therapy and run an orthopaedic workshop. We have also recently opened a clinic at the domestic arrivals terminal at the airport. We specialise in a 24 hour travel and vaccination service so remember to pop in if you need us on any arrival in or departure from Jozi.
