This is a tough ride, but it is not a race. Pause to enjoy the scenery, meet the landowners along the route and at the water tables. Linger for refreshment at Base4.
Ride the Rhenoster brings attention to the natural environment, not give-aways and branding. At the finish take away bragging rights and the knowledge that you have made a difference.
The route is designed by Miles Crisp to challenge the rider, and to showcase the scenic beauty of the conservation area in which it takes place. Private landowners allow access across areas not general accessible and do so to raise funds. The funds are to the further the conservation efforts which secure this remakrable open space. On the doorstep of the Pretoria-Johannesburg conurbation are two threatened ecosystems which landowners protect. Come and see what makes Ride the Rhenoster so special.
