2016 Tiletoria Elgin Valley MTB

Exciting new routes! Come and pedal the fantastic single track and farm roads on the Paul Cluver Wine Estate, including some sections on the popular Oak Valley MTB trails.

The 70 km route is aimed at fit, experienced cyclists and will take you over the tough and technical climb over Groenlandberg. Seeding requirements will apply to the 70 km route, with riders needing a PPA seeding of MA-MC. If you have a lower PPA seeding and wish to enter the 70 km route, please send us an email with motivation and we’ll gladly look at your seeding.

The 45 km and 70 km routes will both be seeding events for the 2016 Wines2Whales.

The 15 km will be untimed. This route is roughly a “figure of 8” which passes the start/finish and participants can decide to do one loop only (roughly 8km), or both sections.

Travel on the N2 from Cape Town, continue over Sir Lowry’s Pass towards Botriver, pass Peregrine Restaurant (on the right) and turn left immediately after Kromco at the sign to Paul Cluver. GPS: 34°05′27.0″S 018°51′20.5″E

After the event, enjoy something tasty from the various food stalls, while Paul Cluver Estate will be offering wine and cider for sale. Celebrity MC Deon Bing will be on the mike and will add heaps of fun to the lucky draw where loads of great prizes can be won, including a R5000 voucher from Tiletoria.

PRIZE MONEY for the podium winners (men as well as women) in the 70 km is as follows:
