Unlike some male lifestyle mags, we don’t guarantee you a sublime six-pack or toned butt in four easy half-hour sessions per week. The whereabouts of the G-Spot continues to be a mystery to us, despite access to the latest GPS technology. And there’s no way we will ever be able to decipher those ‘Take Me Now, Baby!’ signals beamed across the room at Single Bars.

What we can do, however, is help you get off that damn couch and into the great outdoors. We know you want to, so here’s the deal ... NDORFIN’s brand new 2007 Adventure Calendar is hot off the press, and it features a whole whack of events YOU want to do. First ten guys around the block each score a Freebie... You know who you are, so send your names and email addresses to info@ndorfin.co.za and we ’ll send you one.
There can only be one, and it is NDORFIN’S Day of Play, presented by Duesouth on December 16th. The ‘right’ place to be is the Southern Right Hotel in Glencairn, and the action kicks in bright and early. Slot into the Extreme South Stage Race, a trifecta made up of the First Ascent/Salomon Trail Run, the Bike Hut Mountain- Cross Track Race and the Paddlers Ocean Paddle. Wanna know more? Then click through to the NDORFIN DAY section on www.ndorfin.co.za

Yup, we know Glencairn is bladdy far from Braamfontein, so here are some other options for those unfortunate souls who can’t make our Day of Play. Pedal into the action at Omni-Motion’s 24 Hours of MTB at Northern Farm in Gauteng, or crank it up during the Noon-to-Moon Team Relay in Sabie – both events happen on December 2nd.

Plug into the fun side of AR at Quantum Adventure’s Jolly Jester Sprint on Dec. 3 at Grabouw, but make sure you have enough energy left for the Big One … It’s time once again for The Duesouth Xterra presented by Nissan, and it will be down to the wire at Shongweni Dam, with a 1.5km swim, a 30km MTB and an 12km Trail Run on December 10th.

And don’t expect things to slow down with Christmas looming … there’s the Sabie Experience on Dec. 14th, the West Coast Surfski Stage Race on Dec. 15th, the 2006 All Africa Paragliding Open at Porterville on Dec. 17th and The Moment AR & MTB Event on Dec. 19th in Stilbaai … And then, it is time to kick back and relax with your families until 2007 dawns in a blaze of glory!
The odds were way stacked, but we’ve pulled it off, and in our grubby little paws we hold an object of delicate and ephemeral beauty. It is the inimitable, funkalicious and delectably raunchy Adventure Calendar for 2007. And you had better believe that we are totally stoked!

This is our second edition and it’s the dog’s bollocks, even if we have to say so ourselves. The imagery will give you goose bumps, the design cuts to the bone, and every month brims with a whack of killer outdoor events. And best of all, you can get in on the action from 1st of December by ordering it on info@ndorfin.co.za

Or you can join us for the official Adventure Calendar launch at 8PM on Dec 16th  at Embargo’s (below the Southern Right Hotel) in Glencairn. It’s gonna be a party of note, with extreme footage from Red Bull, funked-up tunes, tricked give-aways and a whole bunch of sleek and sumptuous adventurers.

Yet again, you have blown us away with a super selection of snappy captions. Picking the winner has been a tough decision, but Robby Kojetin offered us a major bribe and therefore walks away with the prize.

The winning caption for November is: “It was at that moment that Henry remembered his bike was still attached to the bakkie".

In second place: ”The Jesus Impersonator loved the power of Photoshop.” submitted by Mike Lowry.

(By the way, the maniac doing the mud-pool hovering is none other than AR extremo Gerrard Booyens - the photo was taken during the Swazi Extreme AR). He wins a Zartek ZA-500 Sports MP.

This is our last Caption Comp for the year, but we’ll bang it up again in 2007 with a brand new slick pic. Is there time for an intimate Group Hug before we loudly shout out Sayonara! No? Anyone? OK, what the hell, go out and multiply, amigos, and always remember: ADVENTURE RULES!!!

P.S. Thenjiwe Tshazibana from Durbs was the lucky winner of our Thadaku Weekend away. Enjoy your break Thenjiwe!
